Marit Fujiwara

Marit Fujiwara  was born in Norway and raised in Brazil before moving to London to study at Chelsea College of Art and Design. She graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2009 and then set up her company Tanana Takite. Specialising in mixed media and constructive textiles, she creates some really unique pieces that push the boundaries between Art, Craft and Design. She adopts an experimental attitude towards materials, combining traditional printing techniques with embroidery and fabric manipulation.Specially those colorful dresses aren't just clothes but the examples of professional artwork. Marit creates stunning and dreamy things which reflect artist’s talents and exceptional taste.  As a keen illustrator, she bases her work on drawing allowing fluidity to her garments projecting the idea of movement and time. Yulia Ustinova

Yulia Ustinova is a Russian artist who uses the art of crocheting to replicate famous artworks or to arrange new shapes totally made by her.She is creating soft sculptures from crochet with a sculptural form inside. There is nothing granny about her work. It is bold, direct and brings a smile to the viewer.

Yulia has been formally trained in art and has taken her training along with using the old craft of crochet to sculpture her ‘big women’ or in Russian, “tetki” – it means uneducated and ungroomed women.She explains how she decides on the positions "I am taking all my ideas from real life which surrounds me, from my reflections about some events.

Sometimes plasticity dictates the plot, sometimes, on the contrary, feelings and impressions from real life get shape in my works"Works are crocheted very tight and solidly filled with cotton wool. So they are quite solid and about 25cm to 60 cm in size.They are not exhibited constantly, except in Olga Okudzava`s museum of author dolls. Sometimes she has periodic exhibitions at The Central House of Artists.

Averil Stuart-Head

She is a Textile/Fibre/Mixed Media Artist, art workshops in painting, fiber art, quilt art, mixed media, felting, collage, taught in a medieval Italian mountain village Introdacqua . She also   like to  experiment   with   different     photo transfer technique's, dyeing wool and felting it into art pieces.    Much  of her work includes the process of layering and she get a good deal of satisfaction from building up texture. She loves that time has marked, peeled, rusted and corroded the surface, similar to the facade of a old painted wall or an old relic, creating an effect that is rich in colour, texture and history. 

Through the use of multi-layered techniques, She likes to peel back the layers as if going back through the passage of time. "This provides contrast and interest and allows the viewer to explore the composition past the immediately obvious central themes..."( that what she says)

Nicky Perryman

 She is a textile artist based in the UK. She has been working as a freelance textile artist since 1988 when she graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom with a BA(hons) degree in embroidery. She has completed many private commissions, designed greeting cards for Decorum and Paper Rose, and exhibited and sold work in numerous shows. In addition to the United Kingdom she has sold work to customers as far apart as Canada, Qatar and Australia. She has also worked in the bridal-wear manufacturing and commercial embroidery industries, lectured in textiles at North East Worcestershire College and held workshops in silk painting and embroidery.

She love playing around with fabric paint, stitching both hand and machine embroidery,and love  to explore embroidery as much as she can, combining traditional hand stitching, machine embroidery (especially free motion) and cutting edge digitized embroidery.
